Where Have I Been?

A few comments here recently have noted that it's been a while since this blog has been updated. It's true, and I'm sorry. Here's why.

First and foremost, I've been working on finishing my dissertation on fiction, falsehood, and the ancient novel. It's nearing completion now, so I hope to have more time to write.

I've also been in the process of a housing renovation and move that are now coming to a close (finally!).

But I have written a couple of things more recently than the previous entry. Thanks for my acquaintance with author John Shore, I have been involved with Unfundamentalist Christians for the past two years, and have offered my most recent contributions (and a few of my older ones) to that group's blog over on Patheos.

Blogging is something that I thoroughly enjoy and hope to do much more of in the coming months and years. But it is a little difficult to produce an outpouring of written public content without your dissertation committee asking your my latest chapter is still in the works if there's time to write a blog. So with that project coming to a close (and my future career path open), I hope to be interacting with you more often here soon.

Thanks for your indulgence!
